History
President/CEO, Ken Rutyna had an epiphany: After more than 15 years in the information technology field, he realized that many small-to-medium-sized businesses in the metro Detroit area lacked the IT support and resources that larger companies have at their disposal. At that time, most IT service consultants focused the majority of their efforts on large companies. He also observed that even if smaller businesses did have abundant IT resources, there were often inefficiencies in network design, infrastructure and even workstation configurations that were costing an unnecessary amount of time and money.
In 2004, Ken decided to build an IT services company focusing on small- and medium-sized businesses based on the core mission that supporting the technology requirements of our clients is of the utmost priority and importance, and that all businesses deserve top quality IT support, regardless of their size. KTG began to grow (and continues to) at a consistent rate. Beginning with a small group of loyal clients in the metro Detroit area and a small group of dedicated employees, KTG now has provided support for over 200 clients
